The art residency GuilmiArtProject will partecipate at interesting meeting Art Residencies Against Trends at MAD – Murate Art District in Florence, Italy on 28th november.
The art system today sees the artist’s residence as a consolidate and contitutive system. Residence is synonymous with mobility, production and research. Some pioneering experiences are renewed today by proposing new approches and alternative ways. How much can residency affect artistic production? What instruments can be claimed? How can residencies and artists not only represent a network of insiders but also estabilish and stimulate important relationships with the terrotories and communities that host them?
