Cassis Artist Residency is a cosy place in the French Riviera welcoming international artists of any nationality and working in different fields of artistic creation for a short or long periods of stay. It is a beautiful Mediterranean villa which is used as a hostel during spring, summer and autumn.
Since 2016 it opened our doors also during the period from mid-November until mid-March, with the aim to accommodate artists and to provide for them a quiet and picturesque place for work and to develop their artistic projects.
The invited artists are free to choose the period of their stay (from 2 weeks to 2 months), as well as the projects to work on during the residency.
It is open to receive artists collectives.

Residency conditions
Duration:
Minimum stay 1 month, maximum stay 2 months.
Number of artists resident at one time:
between 4 and 8
Small artists collectives are welcome.
Expenses paid by artist
– Travel
– Art supplies and materials
– Food (we have a kitchen and all necessary to cook)
– Accommodation fee: price depends on the room.
Expectations from the artist
– Residents are free to work on any ongoing or new project of their choice
– Presentation of your work / artist-talk / concert /performance (depending on the field of work)
– Active participation in group discussions and critique sessions
– Collaborations between artists are encouraged
– Donations to the residency art collection are welcome.

– 14 November 2019 – 12 December 2019 (4 weeks)
– 12 December 2019 – 9 January 2020 (4 weeks)
– 9 January 2020 – 6 February 2020 (4 weeks)
– 8 March 2020 – 20 March 2020 (2 weeks)
There are 4 rooms available, they can be shared. You can come with a partner and we host artist collectives too.
